Ventilation maintenance in Brussels, Walloon Brabant and Flemish Brabant keeps indoor air healthy and your system reliable. We service extract and heat recovery ventilation and ventilation for business premises, all brands.

  • For: homeowners and businesses
  • Quote: free, no obligation
  • Carried out by: certified refrigeration engineers

Why maintain your ventilation?

  • Ensure air quality: clogged filters let through less air, less well filtered.
  • Maintain the airflows needed to remove moisture and pollutants.
  • Limit energy use: a fan that has to strain uses more electricity.
  • Reduce noise and extend the life of the fans.

What our maintenance includes

  • Cleaning or replacing filters
  • Cleaning extract and supply valves
  • Checking the unit, fans and electrical connections
  • Cleaning the heat exchanger (MVHR)
  • Checking the condensate drain

Tailored maintenance contract

There is no standard plan: the contract is tailored to your installation (type of system, number of valves, use of the premises). We will send you a suitable proposal on request. In the event of a breakdown, see our repair service.

How often?

Filters are cleaned or replaced several times a year, depending on the manufacturer’s recommendations and the building’s surroundings. A full service of the installation is usually done once a year.

Between services

  • Clean the extract vents regularly.
  • Do not block the air inlet grilles.
  • Do not switch the ventilation off, even in winter.
  • Change or clean the filters when the unit indicates it.

Frequently asked questions

How often should ventilation be serviced?

The filters of a heat recovery unit should be checked and cleaned or replaced regularly, according to the manufacturer's recommendations and the environment. A full service by a technician is recommended at least once a year.

What happens if ventilation is not maintained?

Filters and valves clog, airflows drop and the air is renewed less effectively: damp, odours and higher electricity use can appear, and the fan wears out faster.

What does ventilation maintenance include?

Cleaning or replacing filters, cleaning valves and grilles, checking the unit and fans, cleaning the heat exchanger of an MVHR unit, checking the condensate drain and checking airflows.

What can I do myself between services?

Dust the extract valves and air inlet vents, never block them, and clean or replace accessible filters as described in your unit's manual.
