Ventilation installation in Brussels, Walloon Brabant and Flemish Brabant starts with a survey of your building. We size the system according to the rooms, their use and the duct routing constraints, then install and commission it.

The systems we install

  • Mechanical extract ventilation: stale air is extracted from wet rooms, fresh air enters through vents in the living areas.
  • Heat recovery ventilation (MVHR): mechanical extract and supply, filtering of fresh air and heat recovery through a heat exchanger.
  • Ventilation for business premises: air renewal in offices, shops and meeting rooms.
  • Extraction: removal of air from specific rooms (toilets, plant rooms…).

Our approach

  1. Visit and study: survey of the rooms, the required airflows and the duct routing options.

  2. Proposal: system selection and detailed quotation.

  3. Installation: fitting the unit, ductwork, valves and grilles.

  4. Commissioning: setting the airflows and explaining how the system works and how to look after it.

After installation

Ventilation needs maintenance to keep its airflows and air quality: see our ventilation maintenance service. For complete comfort, we can also look at air conditioning or a heat pump.

Extract or heat recovery ventilation?

Mechanical extract ventilation (MEV) is the simplest to install: it extracts air from wet rooms while fresh air comes in through grilles. Heat recovery ventilation (MVHR) also supplies fresh air mechanically, filters it and recovers part of the heat from the extracted air. It needs more ductwork and regular filter maintenance.

What to plan for

  • An accessible location for the unit: loft, utility room or plant room.
  • The duct route to the vents in each room.
  • Outdoor air intake and exhaust, far enough apart.
  • Air transfer between rooms, for example under interior doors.
  • Condensate drainage for a heat recovery system.

Frequently asked questions

Which ventilation system should I choose?

It depends on the building, its insulation, the space available for the unit and ducts, and how the rooms are used. Extract ventilation is easier to fit; heat recovery ventilation filters the fresh air and recovers part of the heat from the extracted air. We advise you after an on-site visit.

Can ventilation be installed in an existing building?

Yes, in most cases. In renovation, the duct routing is the main point to study: we look for the most discreet route possible.

Are there regulatory requirements?

For new builds and major renovations, the energy performance (EPB/PEB) regulations of your region set ventilation requirements. We take the requirements that apply to your project into account during the study.

Do you also install ventilation in business premises?

Yes: offices, shops, meeting rooms or plant rooms. Air renewal can then be studied together with air conditioning.
