Ducted air conditioning is the most discreet solution: the indoor unit is hidden and air is carried through ducts to supply grilles in several rooms.
Advantages of a ducted system

For which projects?
Major renovations, new builds, houses with a loft or suspended ceiling, offices and shops that care about aesthetics. A ducted system is best planned before finishing work.
No room for ducts? Cassette air conditioning also fits into a suspended ceiling. To start your project, see our air conditioning installation service.
What to plan for
- A location for the indoor unit: loft, false ceiling or plant room.
- The duct route and the position of supply and return grilles.
- An access hatch for maintaining the unit and its filter.
- Condensate drainage from the concealed unit.
Ducted system maintenance
The filter sits at the return air grille and must be cleaned regularly. During maintenance we reach the unit through the hatch to clean the heat exchanger and check the condensate drainage.

Frequently asked questions
What is ducted air conditioning?
An indoor unit placed out of sight (suspended ceiling, loft, plant cupboard) that blows air into the rooms through ducts and grilles. It is connected to an outdoor unit, just like a standard split system.
How much space is needed?
Enough room for the indoor unit and the ductwork, usually a suspended ceiling or a loft that is accessible for maintenance. We check feasibility during the technical visit.
Can each room be controlled separately?
Depending on the installation, yes: motorised dampers and zone control let you adjust the temperature room by room.
Can ducted air conditioning also heat?
Yes, reversible models work as an air-to-air heat pump and can heat the home.
