Floor console air conditioning is installed on the floor or low on the wall, often where an old radiator used to be or under a window.
Why choose a floor console?

What to know before installation
- Clear space in front of the unit so air can circulate freely.
- An often short pipework route when the console sits under a window or against an outside wall.
- Condensate drainage at low level: by gravity where possible, otherwise with a condensate pump.
Console or wall-mounted?
A wall unit, mounted high up, spreads cool air well in summer. A console, at floor level, is more pleasant for heating and easier to reach for maintenance. We advise you based on the room and its main use.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a floor console and a wall-mounted split?
The console sits low on the wall. It spreads heat at floor level, which makes it very comfortable in heating mode, and it is easier to reach for maintenance.
Where should a floor console be installed?
Low on the wall, often under a window or in place of an old radiator. It suits attic rooms or walls where a wall-mounted unit cannot be fitted high up.
Can a floor console also heat?
Yes, in its reversible version. Its low airflow is even appreciated in spring and autumn, as the heat rises from floor level.
Does a floor console take up much space?
It is shallow (around 20 cm) and the size of a small radiator. The filters stay easy to reach for cleaning.
